SUMMARY
Currently, the hover text of the nm applet in the systray shows strings in this format:

<type>: Connected to <name> <isLimited>

(see https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-nm/-/blob/master/libs/declarative/networkstatus.cpp#L220

I suggest removing the word "Connected to" to make the hover text smaller and look nicer with longer SSIDs. The "normal" state of networks is "connected," so  IMHO those words aren't needed in this normal state.

What do you think? (If there is a consent to do this, I can quickly do a MR)

I don't think there's any need to do this. The text only appears on hover anyway; it's not wasting any space. And the clarity is useful IMO.
