Missing Kubuntu sources in Discover

SUMMARY

Since my upgrade, "Discover" doesn't show any sources to my packages anymore (Check screenshot). I've checked and re-enabled my packages after upgrading, I see the packages listed in Konsole, when I run:

    > sudo apt update

but Discover just doesn't seem to want to list my packages.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have an existing installation of Kubuntu 19.10
2. Upgrade to Kubuntu 20.04, via Konsole with

   > sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade
   > sudo do-release-upgrade -m desktop

3. Wait for upgrade to complete and restart

OBSERVED RESULT

Discover does not list the new Kubuntu 20.04 sources

EXPECTED RESULT

Discover should list the new sources to Kubuntu 20.04

EDIT: In the section STEPS TO REPRODUCE, step 2, should be:

   > sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
   > sudo do-release-upgrade -m desktop

and not:

   > sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade
   > sudo do-release-upgrade -m desktop

It seems like the upgrade system might have removed your packagekit backend. Can you maybe reach out to kubuntu developers? They will be able to give you more information of what went wrong.

Sorry for taking so long to reply.

Hey! Thanks for the reply.

How would I be able to reach out to the Kubuntu devs? Is there a freenode channel or mailing list I can use to get in touch?

Thanks in advance!
