The netwrok widget displays incorrectly

SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set i3-gaps as KDEWM by the steps in https://userbase.kde.org/Tutorials/Using_Other_Window_Managers_with_Plasma
2. Set the multi-screen layout as what is in the screenshot
3. Click the network widget (or any other widget ) in the panel

OBSERVED RESULT
There is only a very small window in the center of screen.
As you can see in the screenshot, xev reports the window be created requests a size of 1x1, which is abnormal and can't find when the window is created successfully in other situation.

EXPECTED RESULT
The network widget displays correctly

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I can confirm this behaviour. It still persists in plasma desktop 5.20.4. and affects not only network widget, but also application menu, clock/calendar widget and others. Also, when trying to move the panel to a different edge of the screen, it severely messes up the entire desktop and makes it unusable. I had to revert to a previous snapshot of my home dir. It looked like parts of the panel were extremely magnified and covered the entire screen, blocking everything.

I can try to debug if given instructions on how to do that.

Hmm, Plasma seems very confused about this screen arrangement. Does it still happen in Plasma 5.22?
