Description vindicator 2020-06-07 06:08:00 UTC
SUMMARY
KDE Identity says my account already exists.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. https://identity.kde.org/index.php?r=registration/enterDetails
2. Filled in my information including the same email I use here.
3. https://identity.kde.org/index.php?r=site/passwordReset
4. Filled out my email that is said to already exist and guess 3 usernames I could go by.

OBSERVED RESULT
Register site: 'Email Address "<my email address>" has already been taken.'
Forgot password site: 'Email address does not match those known for the given username'

EXPECTED RESULT
I don't recall EVERY having used that site, so I'd expect to be able to register.
And if I can't register, then I expect to be able to get my password reset using my email address ALONE.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.70.0
Qt Version: 5.15.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I saw no way to contact someone there to resolve this issues, so this is the next best bet in my view.

I'll be making a comment on "https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kdenlive/-/issues/102" about how the audio thumbnails ALWAYS appear to be generated even when it's disabled in the settings: "/usr/bin/ffmpeg -hide_banner -y -i /<pathToFile> -filter_complex:a showwavespic=s=1000x562:split_channels=1:scale=cbrt:colors=0xffdddd|0xddffdd -frames:v 1 /<projectPath>/<#>/audiothumbs/<UID>.png"
This comment is just a reminder for myself whenever the Identity site issue is resolved.

There wasn't an account fully created with your email, but there was a very old pending registration (confirmation email never responded). I have deleted it and you should be able to register now.
