In the comment, I pasted a link to a Google Drive to share with you the 2 files both the .kra & the converted .kra~ which will not open. Can you please fix? I gave you the ability to edit in Drive (84 bytes, text/plain)

Description Anna 2020-06-06 05:09:50 UTC
SUMMARY
Krita crashed when working on "3 mermaids.kra" file. Then, after restarting PC, all related files say "Not a valid Krita file." The autosave file literally disappeared. When I try to open it from the history, it says the file does not exist. I do have a "3 mermaids.kra~" which also cannot be opened bc it says "not a valid Krita file."

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Try to open attachment "3 mermaids.kra"
2. Get error: "not a valid Krita file"
3.

Please update to the latest version of Krita, 4.2.9. Your file is empty, it's all zeroes, so it cannot be fixed. Check whether you still have enough free disk space to save your files to.
