Description C3NfhC2K8m 2020-05-30 21:21:15 UTC
SUMMARY
When importing a video with multiple audio channels into the timeline, the audio thumbnail will depict the first audio track even if another one is selected.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. import video with multiple audio channels
2. in clip properties select the desired audio track (which is not track 1)
3. drag clip into timeline with audio thumbnails enabled

OBSERVED RESULT
Audio thumbnail shows the first audio track instead of the selected audio track.

EXPECTED RESULT
Audio thumbnail should depict the selected audio track instead of the first audio track.

KDE Plasma Version: 20.04.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.69.0

Yes this behavior is known.

You can try the nightly build (https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Nightly_mingw64/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/) where multitrack audio is implemented. You can select the audio track in clip properties on the new tab audio and insert them into the timeline. This feature will come with 20.08.
