kdenlive no scroll bar

SUMMARY

I just installed 20.4.1 (standalone) and after installing video clips, I cannot scroll horizontally.  The only way to find the end of the clips I installed was to zoom out.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
It happened after installation and first use.  I also restarted to see if it would work and it didn't

The scrollbar is probably still there but hardly visible. The issue is known and tracked here https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kdenlive/-/issues/593
