Description Tyson Tan 2020-05-29 06:42:11 UTC
I followed the instruction on:
https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/preferences/g_mic_settings.html
trying to set it up, but it didn't work.

In G'Mic-Qt Intergration setting page, after pointing the path to gmic_krita_qt-x86_64.appimage and restarted Krita, the area after "Plugin:" is empty. Menu --> Filter -- > Start G'Mic-Qt cannot be clicked. gmic_krita_qt-x86_64.appimage itself can be executed alone without any issue.

Tested on:
krita-4.3.0-beta2-f6ee764-x86_64.appimage
krita-4.3.0-beta1-x86_64.appimage
with each of their accompanying gmic_krita_qt-x86_64.appimage

System:
Manjaro KDE Plasma 20.01 X86-64
KDE Plasma: 5.18.5
KDE Framework: 5.70.0
Qt: 5.14.2

It works now. Probably some hiccups in the settings or path. Sorry for the false alarm!
