Comparaison between dolphin and kate filesystem browser plugin

Using the plugin "File System Browser" in "Tree view". 
I can't expand a directory when there is only files in it. Tree exploration is showing the directory as if it was empty…

II just upgraded to Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

Likely the same as bug#419434, which will be fixed in KDE Frameworks/kio 5.71.0.
