SUMMARY After boot, I'd get a popup from KDE Wallet, and when I try to enter my password, I'd get Error -9 incorrect password, but it was the same password as the one I set. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Log in to account on desktop OBSERVED RESULT KDE Wallet Service keeps popping up and can't close it. Had to "stop" it via KSysGuard just to stop it from annoying me. EXPECTED RESULT Shouldn't keep bothering me SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon Testing Edition KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.71.0 Qt Version: 5.14.2 Kernel Version: 5.3.0-53-generic OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz Memory: 15.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/PCIe/SSE2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This happened before with the original wallet account, but I ended up creating another wallet which fixed it. I was told by someone on reddit to downgrade to 5.69, but don't know where to find it.

Since you are on git builds I'm pretty sure you need to go back to your original wallet. Bits got messed up which rendered kwallet unable to open legacy wallets, that has been fixed so by extension wallets created with the messed up bits won't work now.

What about when we change the password of our user accounts? On my Kubuntu 20.10 system, that problem popped up when I changed my password, and the only way I fixed it is by changing the password of the wallet myself.
