SUMMARY When dragging clips from one track to another, I sometimes get a ghost clip - I have only seen it when moving tracks down from the top but can not say that it never happens in the other direction. The resulting track takes up space but I can't do anything when I select it including deleting it. I had the same issue in 18.08.2 I have never seen it with a short clip, only ever longer (10 mins +) clips. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add one or more long clips 2. Drag clip to next row down 3. Release OBSERVED RESULT Ghost copy of the clip created - the old one stays in place and can be interacted with normally EXPECTED RESULT Selected clip moves SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: 5.67.05.14.1 Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Cleaning the project seems to fix the issue
Can you upload a screenshot here to see how the ghost clip looks like.
This seems like a pre-refactoring issue. Can you provide as stated a screenrecording or steps on how to reproduce please?
