Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 20.04.1b to see if there are any packaging issues https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/

If the problem/issue doesn't occur when using the AppImage, then it's your configuration or packaging.

It would appear that the AppImage described worked, so I decided to share information about my setup in case it might help to explain why the issue arose for me.

OS: Manjaro Linux x64 KDE
Japanese keyboard, Nvidia drivers, Intel processor
The version I utilized of Kdenlive was downloaded from Manjaro's official repositories.

Thank you.

Thank you for the feedback. Glad to hear it works. We know that the Distro packaging is not always complete which leads to issues.

We close this bug. If it still appears in the latest version, please feel free to re-open it and update the affected version number.
