SUMMARY When I boot my machine, audio does not work instantly. To get my audio working, I need to go to my Plasma audio volume applet settings, turn the volume down and back up again, and suddenly audio works fine. Strange. This feels like it could be a PulseAudio bug to me. Can you install the PulseAudio Volume Control (aka "pavucontrol") app and try changing the volume from that?
