SUMMARY I am trying to make a simple video just a bunch of clips from holidays with a music track (and sometimes video sound) and a few transitions. For whatever reason (and at varying points) my rendered video will work for the most part, but on some clip changes they will be either all white, or all black. Sometimes it will render my music track in, sometimes it will be missing entirely.... this is without making changes to the timeline. I have tried both MP4 and WEBM and quality shifts, I cannot reproduce consistently but it plays back fine in the timeline. I have the video profile set to h265 4k UHD @ 60FPS It has a mix of 4k/1080p/720p but all 16:9 clips Heres the completed video render for reference, and where it turns white is a 1080p@60fps clip changing to the next 1080p60fps clip... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xs0d2ez1HM8 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Do you use 3 different cameras? If so can you upload a 3sec. original footage from the cameras which make the white/black clip on rendering so we can test. What are your project settings? What are your render settings?

Project settings 4k UHD 60 Video Settings Frame size: 3840 x 2160 (16:9) Frame rate: 60 fps Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1 Color Space: ITU-R 709 Interlaced: no Render mp4-h265 hevc also tried mp4-h264 and low -high quality
It's difficult to say as you send not the original footage. I assume the smartphones record with variable bit rate and variable frame rate which leads in general to render issues. Workaround: Transcode clips and exchange it in the timeline. I assume you set on each clip in/out point. Click on each clip in the project bin -> right click in the clip monitor the clip –> either "Extract Zone" or "Insert Zone in Project bin" -> If you do latter you have to transcode with "ProRes 422 HQ". In both cases exchange this transcoded clips with the original in the timeline. Yes, this is a huge work. So start with the first clip getting white after rendering and test if it gets rendered.
Hi, the footage link has expired, could you please provide it again so I can test. Also can you test if this is still happening in latest daily build?
