SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open big file (2 Go fox exemple)  with kwrite
2. view memory use
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT


EXPECTED RESULT
I have to work with large data files (up to 10 GB) and it's very complicated with Kwrite: Data analysis, data cleaning, ...
The files are destined to become more and more voluminous ...

I've seen this before as well, kate uses far more memory than kwrite.

This should be investigated.

kate and kwrite use exactly the same store for documents, but yes, they use a lot
