SUMMARY I have the same problem for kdenlive 19.12 20.04 20.04.1 on Ubuntu and 20.04 on Windows: when I launch automatic scene split on clips in the Project Bin and tick "cut" option - the program puts the markers correctly by doesn't in fact cut the video/add any split segments. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Put any video to Project Bin 2. Select in the context menu Clip Jobs -> Automatic scene split 3. Tick "Cut scenes" box and press "Ok" OBSERVED RESULT Clip markers were put in the scene splits but no cuts were shown. EXPECTED RESULT The markers are saved as well as the video segments are accessible in a Project Bin listing under the corresponding video SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: Win19 (kdenlive ver 20.04 ) Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 20.04 / kdenlive from ppa (20.04, 20.04.1), from base repo (19.12.3) as well as from snap (20.04)
Same here (V20.04.1 on Windows 10 standalone).

So, this bug is there at least since 2018, both on Linux and Windows. (see in 389624)
Hi ! I am able to reproduce the bug and will like to work on it as my first contribution to KDE
Thank you for trying to solve it. If you have any question please come back. Best would be you ask on the Kdenlive Dev Channel in Telegram. https://t.me/kdenlive_dev.
As per my inference, the "Cut Scenes" button should cut into scenes as well as cut the video segments according to the cut markers, right ?
Bug has been fixed
@Pushkar Thank you very much for fixing this bug! Great! (I'm a software developer but don't know C++, sadly. Maybe later... :-) )
@JEdio, you're welcome :)
