psifidotos' Latte Dock has the amazing feature to change its color according to the window color theme, that has previously created. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVbIuZp3VFQ This only works for previously set colors. So you have to make a few custom window bar themes and then apply those for every individual application. So far this is a great solution, but it does not work for applications that don't use the plasma window manager e.g. Vivaldi. https://vivaldi.com/ This browser has the awesome feature to change its window's color according to the loaded website. Latte Dock can not detect this color though! I have already requested this on Latte Dock's Github page and he said that basically the dock is ready for this, but that the Plasma shell needs to provide this color information. It would be really great if there could happen something here. This would also be a nice feature for Plasma mobile, I think!
Technically they don't have to use our decorations to set a colour scheme, but they do have to set the relevant colourscheme atom. If the application doesn't support doing that, guessing would be unfeasible.
So I have to write a feature request to the Vivaldi team? > Am 19.05.2020 um 12:17 schrieb David Edmundson <bugzilla_noreply@kde.org>: > > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421767 > > David Edmundson <kde@davidedmundson.co.uk> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Resolution|--- |NOT A BUG > CC| |kde@davidedmundson.co.uk > Status|REPORTED |RESOLVED > > --- Comment #1 from David Edmundson <kde@davidedmundson.co.uk> --- > Technically they don't have to use our decorations to set a colour scheme, but > they do have to set the relevant colourscheme atom. > > If the application doesn't support doing that, guessing would be unfeasible. > > -- > You are receiving this mail because: > You reported the bug.
