is auto-mounting feature working on your system? On my system removable devices (tested DVD and pendrive) are never mounted at login or when attached despite "Enable automatic mounting of removable media", "Automatically mount all removable media at login" and "Automatically mount all removable media when attached" options are checked in Removable Devices kcm.
Never mind. Auto-mounting works for me after reboot. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 398465 ***
