Description shinanqu 2020-05-18 08:27:26 UTC
SUMMARY
Transform effect shows incorrectly 100% after image was changed with "fit to..."

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. I drag and drop an image into the timeline. The image has for example 1000px width, while the video is 1920px wide.
2. I add the Transform effect to the image.
3. The size shows correctly 100%, as the image only takes half of the video size.
5. I click on "Fit to width". The image takes now the whole video size.
6. In previous versions the displayed image size in the transform effect also changed to about 50%. However, now it stays at 100%.
7. Now when I change the size from 100% to 101%, suddenly in the preview monitor the images makes a huge change from 1920px to suddenly 1010px. This is a big problem when I work with keyframes and want to animate a change of size.
8. The only way to display the correct size is to click on "Adjust to original size" and then afterwards click on "fit to width". Only this way the correct size is displayed in the transform effect.

OBSERVED RESULT
The displayed size of images is always 100% after clicking on "fit to width", even though that's not the case.

EXPECTED RESULT
The displayed size should change when I click on "fit to width", according to the image change in the preview monitor.
That's how it was in previous versions.

Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 20.04.1b to see if there are any packaging issues https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/

If the problem/issue doesn't occur when using the AppImage, then it's your configuration or packaging.
