SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. click on panel 
2. +Add widget
3. drag web browser widget into panel

OBSERVED RESULT
segfaults in a loop

EXPECTED RESULT
no segfault, and a web browser link

Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.5.5
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version:  5.18.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.18.0
Qt Version: 5.5.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
restored older plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc that was Ok, which did not have [Containments][1][Applets][389]

Thank you for reporting this crash in KDE software. As it has been a while since this issue was reported, can we please ask you to see if you can reproduce the crash with a recent software version?
