Description kde 2020-05-16 19:09:47 UTC
SUMMARY
Dolphin can't move files/folders into a symlinked folder.
moving with 'mv' works of course.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. create a symlinked folder or take any existing one
2. create a test file or take any existing one
3. move the test file into the symlinked folder

OBSERVED RESULT
Dolphin throws an error, "an older element already exists". When you try to move a folder in a symlinked folder, it wants to overwrite them.
Effectively you cannot move a file or folder into another symbolically linked folder anymore.

EXPECTED RESULT
being able to move files into symlinked folders

KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5
