STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Apply Clip Jobs > Stabilize (vidstab) 2. Drag the video to the timeline 3. Cut Video to several parts with scissor 4. Change speed on each part to a different speed. Change of speed is between 20 to 50 percent. Speed may increase or decrease. 5. Put the video together so there is no pause OBSERVED RESULT In preview and in rendered video you will see around the cut (change of speed) a jerk or flicker. If you omit step 1 (vidstab) there is no jerk. The video is smooth. EXPECTED RESULT No jerk in any case. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux Ubuntu 19.10 kdenlive-20.04.1b-x86_64.appimage same with previous version 20.04.0b
Linux Ubuntu Studio 20.04.3 LTS Kdenlive 21.08.0 (thanks to kdenlive's ppa) Probably the same bug observed, but with another way TO REPRODUCE: 0.a. Move a video to project 0.b. Select a little part of the video in clip monitor 0.c. Move selected part in project sources 1. Apply Clip Jobs > Stabilize to "zone 1" 2. Drag stabilized video to timeline 4. Change video speed to 50% in timeline (that becomes twice longer) OBSERVED RESULT: . Video speed in full speed, not 50% . Video continues after selected zone EXPECTED RESULT: . Video 50% speed for selected clip zone 1 Please, set bug as confirmed.
Same problem with kdenlive-21.08.0a-x86_64.appimage
