Description Yasir.RWebDesigner 2020-05-16 17:32:21 UTC
Okay So I was editing a gaming video it was almost 40 minutes long. but I had to narrow t down a lot. So I split the video into several parts and used speed effect on a few of them putting some more clips in it some voice over and the end result was somewhere about a 19 minutes long with including intro and outro. but before I started rendering I got some other work to do so I saved everything and closed Kdenlive after a day I opened the file and started rendering I have a low-end laptop it almost took 2 hours to render and after that when I saw the video it was all broken the clips where I had used speed effect were replaced with random parts of the video and where at normal speed. I had to edit to video all over again but before I render I again had other work So like before I saved the file but this time I checked the video before rendering and it was messed up again all of the clips with speed effects were replaced with random parts of the video.

Laptop: HP Probook 6460b

There have been several fixes for speed problems like this (e.g. the fix of the comma/point issue).

Can you please update to the latest version (20.12.3 at the moment, https://kdenlive.org/en/download/) and report here whether this is still happening?
