Description Mathieu Jobin 2020-05-15 09:41:21 UTC
SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Move to a big city
2. Use opensource only in yourlife
3. Love KDE projects
4. Found out about excellent kstars
5. explore your sky
6. look for that bright object in the sky

OBSERVED RESULT
- I cannot find it ...
- if i disabled stars, its all black
- if i enable stars, there are way too many

EXPECTED RESULT
- I wish there was an option to only show what is visible to the human eye.
- I am not sure if that data is accessible. but sure would be great.

You can go to Settings --> Configure KStars --> Catalogs and adjust the slider for stars.
