I've just tested this on Plasma 5.20.3 and I can't replicate the issue.

My settings were 1080p on a 13.3" laptop with 150% (1.5x) scaling.

Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved. I'm setting status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" or "resolved" when you respond, thanks.

It has become worse, now all icons (including everything in the panel) are blurry, however only on my 14" 2560x1440 with 1.5 scaling in X11.

For my 13" 1920x1080 1.5 scaling laptop everything looks rather crisp.

Both run the same system:

Operating System: Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.76.0
Qt Version: 5.15.1
Kernel Version: 5.9.8-2-MANJARO
Comment 3 postix 2021-06-16 17:44:59 UTC
Can no longer reproduce it.
