Description Patrick Silva 2020-05-11 11:44:14 UTC
SUMMARY
The first app listed under "Applications" section of my Global Shortcuts kcm is Dolphin. Apps with name beginning with any letter after "d" are not automatically selected after being added to "Applications" list.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open system settings > shortcuts
2. click on "+ Add application..." button, select any application whose name begins with any letter that comes after the first letter of the name of the first application listed under the "Applications" section and click on "Ok" button
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
the first application under "Applications" section is selected

EXPECTED RESULT
any application should be automatically selected after being added to "Applications" section, so we can immediately set a shortcut to it.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.70.0
Qt Version: 5.14.2

Select application after it is added

Summary:
After adding an application, an user will probably want to edit shortcuts for
the new application. Having to select it again is cumbersome.

Test Plan: Add an application.
