Description wojnilowicz 2020-05-08 17:07:19 UTC
SUMMARY
I cannot enter Polish letters in Lokalize on Windows in the usual way.
This makes Lokalize useless for translation on this OS.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start Lokalize
2. open a .po file
3. focus on target text panel
4. press right Alt key + o

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing.

EXPECTED RESULT
Letter "ó" should appear.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows 7, Polish locale

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
1) The letter can be entered by typing alt + 0243 or by pasting it into target text panel
2) I use binary from here https://binary-factory.kde.org/view/Windows%2064-bit/job/Lokalize_Nightly_win64/
3) US keyboard layout is standard in Poland and to enter Polish letters we press "right alt key" + "some letter". It works with right alt key, and not with left alt key.

Does it work well within other KDE/Qt apps? Does it work in lokalize if you type it in filter for instance?

I tried with Filelight, and it works.

It works as expected in filter field.
