Trace of crash.

SUMMARY
App crash at each attempt.
App finds scanners (wired & network) and seems to behave until requested to "Scan" which produces the ultimate crash. (Trace attached.)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch app.
2. Press "Scan" button.

Thanks for the report.

Can you install debug symbols for sane (sane-dbg on ubuntu) and try to reproduce the crash? The debug symbols could help with locating the problem.

The current crash dump indicates that the crash is in the genesys scanner backend.

Do you get the same crash with xsane?
