Even moving the rotation slider with the mouse does nothing? If you like to make changes over time you have to set keyframes. Make sure they are visible (click right of the transform name the icon). Click on + to add keyframes.
Created attachment 128344 [details] attachment-20676-0.html Well, there is no slider, the things shown in the video are not present, and/or do not work as shown. I do not want to change over time. I finally got the cropping by manually entering numbers in the % size window. There was supposed to be a slider for that. The locating buttons do not work, set height or set width etc just make the screen blink, but no change is made. I see that the Dell G3 has an NVidia graphic card and probably an onboard Intel graphic card. On which graphic card you run Kdenlive? Goto settings -> OpenGL backend -> Try out different OpenGL settings. Can you upload here a screenshot how Kdenlive looks like with the clip in the timeline and the window "Effect/Composition Stack" showing the transform effect?
Can you please provide the information/screenshot requested above? Please test also if this still occurs with the latest version (20.12.3 at the moment, https://kdenlive.org/en/download/) General Note for bug reports: It would be good to now which kdenlive version you use. Help > About Kdenlive However thanks for this report!
