SUMMARY This is not a bug report but a feature request. I face the fact that dolphin approaches more and more windows look and feel. Maybe it is fancy but it is not good for power user. For example the path, i cannot copy and i cannot paste as in old versions. What is the advantage of that? Maybe make it configurable for people with need for smoothness, but give a way to copy and also to paste. This is required for people also using a shell. BTW ms more and more enters into scripting, and you leave it? STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I must admit that I am confused about this report. It is still easily possible to copy the path from the location bar - just click on it and you should be able to do that. Maybe a screenshot of your issue would help? (And regarding your scripting question: You can still easily create a Dolphin service menu or plugin, which is at least as powerful for scripting as other file managers.)
