ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 Wonder 2020-05-03 22:39:00 UTC
After some others tests I view the problem is when I have vinculate (associate) son smartphone in kdeconnect (I try with differents smartphones with same result) if in kdeconnect I don't have any device, gwenview works fine.

Can confirm, I have the same problem. Whenever a phone is connected with kdeconnetd, gwenview has up to 30sec to load a image. When disconnected gwenview displays the image instantly.

Thank you for the bug report, Wonder. We tried to reproduce this bug in KDE Plasma 5.27.11 and 6.1.5 and it seems it has been fixed. Could you please check if this is still an issue in a Plasma version greater than or equal to 5.27.11?
