SUMMARY The name of the tool doesn't match the name of the shortcut in Keyboard Shortcuts STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Hover your cursor over the Edit Shapes Tool. It says: "Edit Shapes Tool". 2. Go to Configure Krita -> Keyboard Shortcuts. Try to find Edit Shapes Tool. 3. Search for "Path Editing". Assign a shortcut to it. 4. Try the shortcut. OBSERVED RESULT "Path editing" shortcut switches to the Edit Shapes Tool. EXPECTED RESULT The shortcut is called "Edit Shapes Tool" because that's how the tool is called now. Note: afaik Select Shapes Tool was also called differently in the past but the shortcut name matches.
