Description Mario P. 2020-04-30 08:00:48 UTC
SUMMARY

Problems with HTML-formatted emails. Writing emails with embedded pictures
are not correctly placed into html-code. <img src=...> is missing.
An previoulsy used/working signature with an embedded image also not works anymore since update to last version (20.04.0).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. new email
2. paste a picture from clipboard as "embedded" into kmail-editor
3. email looks correct - picture is shown as expected
4. save email as template / or send it out
5. check the received/stored message source (html-part) for <img src=...> - can not be found
6. viewing the html-email result => just a [OBJ]-sign is shown - not the content of picture

OBSERVED RESULT

- embedded pictures (images) are not shown in HMTL rendering / just a place-holder [OBJ]

EXPECTED RESULT

- correct display (like it was shown in editing mode)
