SUMMARY

 Hello,

I recently installed Manjaro with KDE Plasma. Here is my problem :

When i go to Network in the left panel within Dolphin, i can't see my Windows 10 machine, although i can see all my other machines (rasberry pi with raspbian mainly)

Then, when i type smb://my_username@my_win_machine in the Dolphin address bar , this is OK, i can browse through the remote shares
Then, when I try to open a movie by double-clicking on it, VLC can't open it, it says "operation not permitted" (in vlc logs).
But when i double-click on a another type of file (pdf...), this is OK

Well, my concern is that just after this, i installed Nautilus, and there is not problem at all, it sees my Windows machine by default and no problem to play the videos on the remote shares with VLC.

I have Manjaro 20.0 / KDE Plasma 5.18.4 / Dolphin 20.04.0 / Samba 4.11.7

So, i think neither my samba conf nor my Windows 10 nor VLC are the problem.
I really would like to use Dolphin instead of Nautilus....

Do you have an idea of this problem and how to solve it ?
Thanks in advance
Alex

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have a Windows 10 machine
2. Click on Network within Dolphin in the left panel
3.

OBSERVED RESULT

You observe that this Windows machine does not show up

Do you have the kdsoap package (or a package with that inside its name) installed?
