Description Germ Wind 2020-04-27 14:53:51 UTC
SUMMARY
When I register a new image, that was taken in upright (portrait) orientation with my Canon SX 70HS in RAW (CR3) in digikam the icon of the CR3 file is represented in landscape; it is rotated by 90 degrees.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a new album in digiKam (creates a new folder)
2. Move files (CR3 + JPG) to the new album using windows explorer.
3. In digikam right-click the new album and click "Refresh"
4. Et voila: the CR3 file displays incorrect.

OBSERVED RESULT
The CR3 file icon is incorrect orientated

EXPECTED RESULT
The CR3 file icon is correct orientated

Exiv2 does not yet support the new CR3 Canon format.
