I never added all of those slide effects, and title clips aren't playing as they appear on the timeline.

SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.click in open space in timeline 
2. hit space bar to start and stop preview
3. select a title clip on the timeline

OBSERVED RESULT

new/random transitions/effect occuring in empty space on timeline

EXPECTED RESULT

nothing

Unfortunately 17.12.3 and older Kdenlive versions are not maintained anymore.

Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 20.04.0
