Description vasile.dragos 2020-04-27 12:07:37 UTC
SUMMARY
Just installed the newly KDE NEON.
Wanted to install GIMP so I opened Discover
Went to Applications>Graphics>
And saw AT LEAST 2 gimp versions in that list which makes it very confusing for new users.
You should keep the latest version ALWAYS and never any other version.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Discover
2. Go to Applications>Graphics>
3. Scroll thru the list for gimp

OBSERVED RESULT
Multiple versions of the same applications

EXPECTED RESULT
Only 1 version , the latest version

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.69.0
Qt Version: 5.14.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Very frustrating especially for new users , when they search a thing and see 10 different things with the same name and they don't know how to look for the differences
