SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open colour selector
2. click on any colour
3. not get that colour

OBSERVED RESULT
the colour i picked isnt that colour, i only get a black, grey or white

EXPECTED RESULT
i get the colour i chose

Can you please attach a screenshot of your whole Krita window with the layers docker visible? It's important to know what colours space you are using and what kind of layer you are on (a pixel layer vs a mask for example).

You have a grayscale image opened. If you want to have a color image, go to image->convert image color space and select the 'rgba' model (don't worry about bit depth an profile, 8bit and sRGB-srgbtrc.icc is sufficient for your usecase).
