SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. F2 -> Rename the file.
2. DEL -> Marked text delete and change text.

OBSERVED RESULT

The default font stays when renaming the file an therefore is unreadable. The original text stays and it is bolder just the file id like ".pdf" or ".jpg" or ".odt" and so on stays not bold.

EXPECTED RESULT

Should not display text like this when changing. In Krusader settings when changing text seems work properly.

What is you Application Style? We have an older report related to the "GTK+" style.

My GTK+ Styles are:

Frame: Mint-Y-Dark
Icons: Mint-X-Dark
Buttons: Mint-Y-Dark
Desktop: Linux Mint

But i think i found the problem. When i change the buttons Style to Mint-X an try to rename files then new text is not over the old one - it functions allright. I assume it is the Style Problem. Same Issue on XnViewMP and K3d.

Thanks for the test. Different style, same issue. I won't mark this bug as a duplicate until we won't inspect it.
