Description Ryan 2020-04-21 22:21:01 UTC
SUMMARY
Window keeps opening up in the exact same position no matter where I left the window when I closed it before. It also opens up near the bottom right corner of the screen, with almost half of the document off-screen. This is a very basic thing to correct in code. It should remember its position or assume a more logical hard-coded default.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open up Okular or launch a document with it.

OBSERVED RESULT
Window is in bottom right corner.

EXPECTED RESULT
Window is in a logical place.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10 Pro Version 1909--OS build 18363.778

Okular Version 1.10.70 on Windows 10 Version 21H1 (Build 19043) still has this annoying behaviour.
Searched through settings files (e.g. Registry, "c:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\okular" ) but was not able to find an appropriate setting.
There is a file "c:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\okular\okularpartrc" seemingly containing screen settings, but no window position.
