SUMMARY
Trying to change the file Name in "Save Image As" takes a minute or more.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click File, SaveAs. The form shows after a couple of seconds.
2. Click the Name field.
3. The application is responsive and can be moved round... but the cursor is not in the Name data field.

OBSERVED RESULT
Takes a long time (a minute?) to allow me to edit the Name.

EXPECTED RESULT
Editing the Name should be near instant.

Could you please state the exact KolourPaint version you are using? The code around its Save dialog has changed recently.

According to Synaptic Package Manager:
Installed Version: 4:17.12.3-0ubuntu1

That's more than 2 years old, and you won't get bug fixes if you stay on this old version.

Please update your distribution, Ubuntu 20.04 LTS is the recent release.
