BUG DESCRIPTION When I edit one mp4 file (add the Dissolve effect to both its beginning and its end and lower the volume of the audio at one point) and I render it, I get a black screen with no sound. This is funny, because all of my other videos render correctly (albeit none of them is as long as this particular file - this one is about 35 minutes long). I checked the Project settings - I recorded the original mp4 video with Kazam on my 1920x1080 screen using 30 FPS. I used the Project Settings for 1080p HD 30 fps video. I also tried other Project settings. Same result - black screen, no audio. Is this maybe related to the length of the clip? On the shorter clips it renders normally. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Debian 10 Buster
Unfortunately 18.12 and older Kdenlive versions are not maintained anymore. Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 20.04.1b to see if there are any packaging issues https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ If the problem/issue doesn't occur when using the AppImage, then it's your configuration or packaging.
