SUMMARY It'd be nice if the neon-preview-upgrade tool supports upgrading to next version with 3rd party PPAs enabled (i.e. Pop!_OS PPA). Pop!_OS's repo gives us easy access to newer NVIDIA driver versions, and other software that gamers use (i.e. Lutris). SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon Testing Edition KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.70.0 Qt Version: 5.14.1 Kernel Version: 5.3.0-46-generic OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz Memory: 15.6 GiB of RAM
Any decision on this?
it's very hard to test all the combintions of ppa's out there. can't the ppa's just be re-enabled post upgrade??
