SUMMARY

kde connect does not show emojis in notifications. I am receiving emojis in telegram on my phone but notifications just show a box in place of the actual emoji image. Kde has emoji support so there should be no reason for emojis to not show up. attached shows notification from telegram in kde connect panel as well as in notification panel.

This looks like an issue with your font configuration
