Description retiredfeline 2020-04-18 05:07:46 UTC
SUMMARY

Cut and paste no longer works between my Moto G6 phone and my KDE desktop. I think this is because my Moto G6 updated to Android 9.0 version PPWS29 116-11-20 Security patch level 1 March 2020 a couple of days ago. Neither restarting kdeconnect on the phone nor the desktop helped. Restarting the phone didn't help either.

Or maybe the openSUSE Leap 15.1 RPMs are out of date?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Upgrade Moto G6 to latest Android release
2. Try to cut and paste between desktop and phone
3. Fail

OBSERVED RESULT

Text cannot be transferred

EXPECTED RESULT

Text should be available to paste on other machine.

Please don't insult the people that provide your software for free.
In fact, newer versions of KInfoCenter do have a copy button

Latest release of kdeconnect app just released seems to have fixed it.
