SUMMARY
Selecting a language from the overlay list produces 2 errors in the terminal:
file:///usr/share/kpackage/kcms/kcm_translations/contents/ui/main.qml:39: TypeError: Cannot read property 'LanguageCode' of null
file:///usr/share/kpackage/kcms/kcm_translations/contents/ui/main.qml:43: TypeError: Cannot read property 'display' of null
— and the language does not get added to the list.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. kcmshell5 kcm_translations
2. "Add languages..."
3. Select any language

OBSERVED RESULT
No effect, log errors

EXPECTED RESULT
The selected language gets appended to the list

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Don't know if this is related, but in all reports of this bug I've seen so far, the KCM displayed "American English (Default)" as the only language configured, even though the actual UI was in Russian.
