Description Andreas Sturmlechner 2020-04-13 18:44:16 UTC
During prolonged use of Falkon - and so far this was only observed there - it will happen that a text area that just got the focus, blinking cursor included, does not accept input.

Instead, all keyboard input is captured by an inactive text field like e.g. URL while appearing inactive (no cursor and greyed out text except domain part), sometimes even in a completely different tab than the currently active one.

Sometimes this can be helped by another mouse click into the desired text field, but other times it is hopeless and I need to find the tab that currently captures keyboard input and reactivate that exact text field.

Tested with both 3.1.0 and today's git master checkout. I can't tell if this is caused by a specific update, as this is my first full-day run using a Plasma Wayland session.

I wonder if this is related to the issue that the address bar history popup is unusable on Wayland. It just pops out for a second while typing and disappears.
