SUMMARY
See the attached screenshot please.
From the end users point of view, there is no folder and no file.
But the status bar incorrectly says "4 folders, 1 file".

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open Dolphin
2. click on "Network" under "Remote" section of places panel
3.

EXPECTED RESULT
"4 folders, 1 file" information should be omitted.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.70.0
Qt Version: 5.14.1

Can confirm. Also on Neon Unstable Edition, Dolphin 20.07.70.
Priority set to minor because I speculate that 95% of all users don't even realize that the status bar shows this information ;)

Status bar of Dolphin 21.04.1 says "4 Folders".

Well technically speaking, those elements are folders and file.
While those are not filesystem folders, they are items in the fake-filesystem provided by kioworker network:/.
Comment 4 Patrick Silva 2023-03-23 11:59:31 UTC
Yes, I understand the technical side. But treating the items under "Network" as folders/files seems incorrect and confusing from the end user perspective.
