Description Laura David Hurka 2020-04-11 15:42:00 UTC
SUMMARY
It appears that some presentation remote controls (example: Rockbox) send the keycodes for QWERTY N and QWERTY P for next/previous page.

The Previous Page and Next Page actions don’t have a shortcut configured by default, and N and P are not used as shortcut yet.

How about setting these default shortcuts? The only problem I see is that n and p couldn’t be used anymore to jump arrround in the Contents panel.

Alternatively, how about listening to these key codes in PresentationWidget?

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I don’t know how these presentation remote controls are really called. If someone knows, feel free to update the bug title. :)

Default Single key shortcuts in general are a big no no. (i know we have some) But in general people are not used to a single key doing things, it's usually Ctrl+Something, etc.

Isn't this something that is fixed just by you editing the shortcuts and adapting it to your hardware?

Yes.

Sounds like WONTFIX for both suggestions.
