Description Gerold Jens Wucherpfennig 2020-04-10 16:52:02 UTC
SUMMARY:

On dual screen setup (screen mirroring) the laptop screen
sometimes has a time lag.

The external screen display (via HDMI) does not have
this problem.

The two screens are out of sync.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

Sorry, I still have no clue about how to reproduce this.
I often observed this in Firefox while watching YouTube,
but this is not limited to YouTube and Firefox.
I have never seen this in other desktop environments.

OBSERVED RESULT:

The external Full-HD-display stays in sync, but the
internal Full-HD - laptop screen freezes for several seconds.

EXPECTED RESULT:

There should be no difference between the
content of the two screens.

I have reactivated this laptop and updated all packages in Manjaro.
I can not reproduce this bug anymore in Plasma 5.22.
